Speakers to Include:
REBECCA GADBERRY
Rebecca Gadberry is the co-founder of Mindful People, an organization dedicated to bringing mindful practices to people in all walks of life. As a former CEO, lecturer, writer, product developer, marketing director, university instructor, mother, wife, grandmother, and student, Rebecca found herself proudly living a hectic, busy life where she could focus on others instead of herself. In 2014, after leaving the industry that had been her home - and around which her life and her family had revolved for 45 years - she became a student of mindfulness at the Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC) at UCLA . . . and completely changed her approach to life. Today, Rebecca is calmly focused on the study of secular, science-based mindful practices while sharing these skills with others.

ALEXANDRA KLEIN
Mindful People focuses on bringing secular, science-based mindfulness practices to people in all walks of life. Founded by Alexandra Klein and Rebecca Gadberry, students of mindfulness at the Norman Cousins' Mindful Awareness Research Center at UCLA, Mindful People offers simple classes in mindfulness practices to people in the Southern California area. They are happy to introduce these practices via spas, businesses, medical offices and hospitals, fitness centers, associations, meetings and conferences. They can be contacted at: rebecca@mindfulpeople.mediaand alexandra@mindfulpeople.media or you can join their Facebook group Mindful People.
LEAH CARVER
LEAH IS THE AUTHOR OF UNDOING HASHIMOTO'S AND FOUNDER OF THE CLAIM YOUR HEALTH, CLAIM YOUR LIFE MOVEMENT.
A few years ago I hit a wall. I walked out of a doctors appointment wondering how I had managed to get here. I had always been health conscious, ate well, had a yoga studio and a strong background in the spa industry and self care. Now I was exhausted, in physical pain and not feeling well. The doctor had diagnosed me with a virus called CMV and Hashimotos Autoimmune disease. This began my journey to reclaim my health and in doing so to reflect upon my life and the direction I wanted it to take. For too long I had allowed my life to be just a response to the next most pressing thing with very little idea about what direction I wanted it to go in. I stopped taking care of everyone else first and began to take care of myself. I applied the principles of wellness I knew and became an advocate for myself. As a result I started to become clear on my passion in life - to coach others through the process of reclaiming their health. The body keeps track of and responds to our life- it is our unwritten diary - the path to wellness begins with embracing the bodies messages. I am a wife and mother to two amazing girls.
